Dr. Stephanie Woodward
Board-Certified General Surgeon & Fellow of the American College of Surgeons
Dr. Woodward received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Nevada School of Medicine. She began her General Surgery Residency at Kern Medical Center in Bakersfield, California. She is a Board Certified General Surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
Upon completion of residency, she joined a practice in San Diego where she performed thousands of robotic, laparoscopic, and open surgeries. In 2022, she relocated to El Centro where she currently lives and works full time and provides excellent surgical care to the community that she has grown to love.
Heather Aguilar
Medical Assistant and Surgery Coordinator
Heather Aguilar is Dr. Woodward’s Certified Medical Assistant and Surgery Coordinator. She has kept Stephanie Woodward MD Inc. running smoothly since its inception. She can answer your questions Monday through Friday and will work to get your surgery scheduled as efficiently as possible. She was born and raised in El Centro where she lives with her husband and two children. She has been working in the healthcare industry for more than 20 years. She strives to provide the best clinical experience possible for Dr. Woodward's patients.
Monica Romero

Monica has been practicing as a Certified Medical Assistant since 2015 for Dr. Seung Gwon with whom Dr. Woodward shares an office. She was born and raised, and lives in El Centro. She assists Dr. Woodward’s patients as well. She is passionate about providing quality care for all of our patients, and looks forward to helping you.
Christina Castrejon
Front Office
Christina has been keeping things running smoothly since she first started working with Dr. Seung Gwon since 2008. She was born and raised in El Centro where she lives with her husband and five children. She has been helping with Dr. Woodward patients since Dr. Woodward relocated to El Centro in 2022. She looks forward to helping you.
